Installation

es is the command-line interface for Everscribe. It manages projects, API keys, and lets you list, tail, and inspect events without opening the dashboard.

Installation

Homebrew (macOS)

brew install --cask everscribe/tap/es

Upgrade later with brew upgrade --cask es.

Prebuilt binaries

Every release ships a prebuilt binary for each platform. No toolchain required.

Each release also includes checksums.txt (SHA-256). On Linux, for example:

Use the latest version from the releases page. On Windows, extract es.exe from the zip into a folder on your PATH.

The binaries are not notarized by Apple. If you download a macOS archive through a browser, clear the quarantine flag before running it:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine es

Homebrew does this for you.

From source

Requires Go 1.25 or later.

go install github.com/everscribe/cli/cmd/es@latest

Verify

es --version

This prints the installed release, for example es version v0.1.0.
